Tasmajdan Park (Stone Square)

Although its name means “Stone Square,” Tasmajdan is actually a lush green park and one of the must-see spots when visiting Belgrade. The area got its name because stones used for building construction were once quarried here. It was also used as a military depot and shelter during wartime.
